Yeah it's funny. I just installed my k&n CAI last week and I love it. Injen basically looks identical, minus the vacuum hose location. CAI's own, one of the best mod's you can do for cheap--sounds HOT and adds a lil zoom zoom at high RPM's. On the tC it's a great cause it takes away the HORRIBLE stock engine whine Good Buy bro~!

Hi guys. I just bought this injen CAI and was wondering how prone the filter is to getting wet. I live in guam where it rains alot and thought it might be better to put it on as a short ram. Any suggestions?

i dont think the injen CAI would get wet because on the tC, there is plastic covers that block water from coming in from the wheel and the bottom. the bottom has 2 holes but i doubt that a lot of water would come in. if u would like to buy a bypass valve, its about 50 bucks but only aem makes them.

I had a dozen INJEN tC intakes the first week it was released and sold out just as quick. But I had gotten in another order and still have a few in stock.

Well i cant tell you which is the best, CIA , maybe MIB ...lol CAI, i believe Injen is superior. TRD muffler piping is 2.5 .

Most think that 2.5 is best for NA anything bigger like 3",there better be enough exhaust volume if not you lose exhaust velocity such as FI. However there isnt enough info out there yet on the TC and catbacks ,no side by side comparisons or data.. and we seem to be short on dynos for some reason. Ive seen boards where there are over 4 pages of dynos.

Chill out psycho. Damn.

Installed my injen yesterday. Installation was about an hour and a half as I actually pulled the front bumber off and had to loosen the side fender to get the second half of the piping though the hole through the fender well. The directions were ok, mostly pictures with a few comments, a little bit of it was kinda figure it out yourself. Nothing overly complicated. I installed it as a CAI, not the RAM option that leaves the filter under the hood, and boy am i glad i did. I cannot honesly say I feel much performance difference, not that i really expected it, I'll play more this week. Sound wise however, AMAZING. If you don't get onto the throttle that hard, you would never know you had an intake except that our intake whistle is much louder now, deffinitely sounds like I have a turbo without a blowoff valve. When you do get onto the throttle, it starts out a low growl, then when you hit about 3500 rpm, it just starts roaring, i can only liken the sound to something you would hear in Gran Turismo, really nice and throaty, not weak sounding at all.
