just a quick question anyone know exactly where i can purchase a hydroshield and a replacement injen filter for my CAI?

well i have a the K&N filter. but isnt the injen one a paper filter? anyways i seem to can't find the hydroshield anywhere...

No Injen is a cotten fiber like K&N....same materials just different names. The paper types that are conical in shape are by Spectre and you get them at Autozone or advanced auto or some place like that. The smallest hydroshield should fit the standard K&N for the intake we have. Just double check the measurements. Check a few posts back of mine.

well isn't this hydroshield gonna hurt the performance of the air filter since it is a sock type of thing?

Nope, it's a really fine mesh that allows more than enough air through and just protects the cotton element from light sprays of water. Air still flows. It's like cheesecloth if you've ever used/held it.
