honestly it feels great...
due to weather kind of being crappy and just not having had time due to work and stuff i haven't really gotten a chance to find a random place to "play" with the car yet

i have taken a few turns and stuff faster then normal and there is no wheel spin or hesitation which there used to be...

really looking forward for the first auto-x this season (april 14th/april15th) to see how it does

I wish you had a s/c because I really want to know how hard I will be able to push the car after the limited slip is installed. Right now if i dont launch right i get zero traction. If I spike the rpms too high in 1st and slam it into second ........you hear a nice screeeeech and see me going nowhere.

With your setup - can you take off on a wet day like you could on a dry day? Do you get more/less torque steer?

Phantom Slip, works so good you never knew you wasted your money on it.

I was sued by them for slander, but once in deposition I mention their patent infringement, aka the copied someone elses work, they dropped the lawsuit.

If were already in a house, I would probably buy the tranny... if you still have it this fall I may have a spot for it in the garage :D
Buy the tranny, buy the LSD and parts, I'll do the install and deliver it!

Wait, 700 miles one way.

1400 miles at 36 mpg = truck freight and I don't have to do the driving!

Simi, your old tranny is clean. If I'd known it was THAT clean, I'd cleaned yours up.

I'm used to greasy Honda's......

any experiences with it on snow by chance? There are 2 reasons we are considering it on the wife's TC, one is to be able to actually launch the thing as with the sc there is no traction even going into 2nd. And our long term goals aren't to keep this "stock" but continue to work on it. But the other reason is equally important--that being getting better traction in the snow. This car isn't the worst front driver we've had up here, but it's not great either. And as only one of us can drive our FJ, the other gets the tc so if this unit helps all around then i can see it's real worth ( for us anyways ).
any thoughts are appreciated. thx!

no "real" snow expereince this winter

... maybe next winter, this year by the time it was installed and the car was back on the ground... all the real snow was gone

it's a great improvement in the rain though... it's only going to be an added advantage during the winter.. there were times when we had snow this winter when i was like. .thank god next year it'll be different

Yup - if you are willing to wait i just emailed my dealer today - i will be bringing my car in on Monday for my LSD/Clutchmaster stage3/Flywheel

When I was ordering my clutch the guy said that anything FI you atleast want to go stage3 with the clutchmaster. There was a guy on the forum that had great prices on the clutch/flywheel combos (as of like a week ago ....so he must still be here somewhere). I paid $730ish total and he was able to quote a better price. .....so I would deff find his post.

Around thursday of next week I should be able to tell you how the clutch feels. I was told that it will feel like stock but just grab lower and harder. The forenza flywheel people say is great. Once again - I can let you know the end of next week. just post here at that time so I dont forget.

^^^ i'll be curious to see some input on how the lsd helps times compared to stock/wheelspin. You have mucho more on the motor then our "stock" sc has but traction is traction. I'd think it should mean more then a few tenths in a 1/4 run, unless wheel hop becomes an issue. thx
