i juz installed my injen cai !! and today after i washed my car i poped the hood and i saw water on the filter !!!! is it a big deal ?? i didnt drive until the filter dry. but wats gonna happen when it rains ??

you will be fine, it will take a little more than some drops of water on the filter to hurt something. Just dont run through any huge puddles. I have driven through some crazy downpours and havent had a problem. You can always get a injen hydrosock to help protect the filter more.

No, those waterproof socks are 100% breathable.

Also, it sounds like you have a short ram intake, not cold air. How can you see the filter when you pop the hood? With cold-air intakes the filter is down in the driver's side wheel well. Which one is it?

 

no i have CAI, theres a big square hole right next to the battery...and when i look down boom there goes the filter

 

o_0 i cant see my filter when i look in my engine bay...did you modify something to have that hole there?

 

i can see mine, i can reach down and touch the filter. It is right behind the headlight.
