Default intake installation question?

ok just a simple question. because im confused and need a answer and didnt find one after searching for a hour. ok i have read and as well as been told that after installing my intake i need to reset my windows and sunroof? is this true? if so how do i do this. as well as why would i need to do this?. thanks for any help.

thats if you disconnect the batt...if you do all you need to do in press down on the driver side window, pull up till the window shuts and hold it for a couple of seconds, same with the passenger side. sunroof is the same process.

i mean do i need to disconnect the battery for the install?. oh and thanks for the info. just curious i mean im sure im going to disconnect the batter but jsut curious.

yes you need to disconnect the battery before install........then when done with install let car idle no revving for 10 minutes then take for a normal drive so the ECU can relearn the new data and you are good.

Would hate to see you shorted out eh MAF sensor by unhooking with battery hooked up and had to spend another $170 to replace it........always unhook battery first when doing anything that has to do with sensors or power........it is a must.

Yea man just unhook it, it is a 10mm socket and takes like 30 secs. Better to be safe than sorry
