Installed mine a while back. first had it in SRI, and felt some noticeable gains but very little. a week later added the CA pipe, and notice a tiiny tiny bit of low end loss but high end increased.

BTW, you shouldnt even get a CEL from an intake. just make sure that you reset the ecu (unplug the battery terminal for a minute or two). and if that doesnt work, then you probably messed up your MAF sensor. Be extremely careful with that thing because it is very sensitive.

also.... forgot to mention... make sure and idle the car after you install... (don't go-a pressin' the gas real quick until after a few minutes.. (i recommend about 10 min.)) let the ECU get used to the new air flow.

I on the other hand am not so fortunate. I've had my Injen CAI for about 3000 Miles and i just recently got a CEL. I'm going to the dealer about it soon, I'll keep you posted weather it's because of the CAI or not.

reset and it was all good.

you don't need to replace the filter... you wash it and re-oil. check every 9,000 miles, clean at least every 30,000 or when it turns black.

I have the Injen CAI. Get a bigger o-ring for the sensor. If you don't center the sensor carefully you will have air get by from the outside of the intake causing a cel.

... our air filters are made out of cotton gauze...

you can go to pepboys, autozone, etc.. etc.. to buy the cleaning supplies. the oil is what traps the dirt and crap in the air filter... you re-oil the filter after you clean it.

if anything.. i've seen K&N's oil and cleaning stuff at stores.... just use that... here's the directions from their site too http://www.knfilters.com/clningins.htm

just for reference, the AEM 3'' bypass valve will fit on an injen CAI, with some slight modification. you can buy it as a set on TRDSPARKS.com
