what is the standed aftermarket intake size. like the diameter of the tube. isit 3"?

 

i was just looking into this earlier this morning. i've been toying around with the idea of buying and ebay intake, then getting a k&n filter. a tube is a tube and i'd make it myself if i could.

what i found is that the k&n kit (at least for the '08s) has a 2.5" intake diameter on the filter. the filter they list for the kit is here: http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RU-4860

i could be waaaaaay off base for what you're looking for, but maybe it will help.

edit: just looked around on injen's website, and the filter for their kits are 3" intake diameter. so i guess it all depends on what piping you get.

AEM = 2.5"
INJEN = 3"
TRD = 2.5"
FUJITA = 2.75"
