None - they give minimal HP and for the price, it's absurd.

If you really want an intake, make one yourself and save the money and get just as good sound/performance.

Now if you want the bling factor, that's a whole other issue.

Are you familiar with anyone on SL that has made their own? I'd be interested in seeing the results and processes used to make it.

 

If you can find somewhere to get 2.5" ABS plastic tubing, you just need some couplers, clamps and a filter.

And no, I don't think too many people here would build their own. Lots of people here prefer bling.

I personally liked the Wep R Short Ram, but now Im boosted, so Im selling my intake. Pm me if you want a little more info on it.

 

I'll have to look into that... I found some DIY's for other cars, but not so much for the tC. I don't care about the bling as much as the improved sound I'll take any modest performance gain I can get too.

It seems like a DIY SRI would be very simple indeed.

i had an injen and also would recommend it. if you can find a used intake, that is the way to go imho...just be sure to clean the filter if its dirty.
