Are you coming to the Mariners game on Sept 6?

I had some trouble too installing the Injen CAI and scratched it up..but the solution was to wrap it in a sheet and stick it up in there, it does require some maneuvering, but it will fit.

 

If you look hard enough you can find Injen CAIs for under $200 new.

i think i paid around 200 back in april or may of 07 for my injen you just gotta look man. Check the classifieds as well in the sponsor sales and engine/drivetrain cause a used CAI is fine to buy in my book.

 

I got my fujita for $144 shipped It's coming in this weekend.. can't wait to install it.

 

GL with the install. not a big fan of the Fujita but its not bad.

 

i think Weapon-R is the only odd one out of all intakes for the tC. its the only piping that has another piping inside of it..... correct me if im wrong for other brand intake users, i dont know how the others are designed...


the weapon-r intake is short ram with another small pipe inside with 3 brackets holding it on stabled. i think thats the "SECRET" of the Secret weapon-r intake...

OP, how has this intake held up over the last couple months? Just curiousity as I'll be shopping for an intake later.

 

Just get a real one not from ebay. Injen, AEM are the better ones. Fujita isnt bad.

 

^ ive had my ebay intake for 3 yrs now maybe alil less and never had one problem with it no CEL nothing. i changed the filter to a AEM filter then to an Injen filter its all the same type of piping i dont really feel to justify paying 300 plus for a intake when i paid 30 for mine and then 40 for the filter and have no problems

 

I too also went the route of a cheap ebay intake. I had it on my car for over a year now, and I too had the same problem with the lower tubing so I just did the short ram also. Mine did rub a little too so all I did was use a small piece of truck cap tape which is just a piece of adhesive tape with foam on it. It made the rattle go away and it is small and hidden behind the filter. I did however put a better filter on it and I painted the tubing FM to match.

 

i went short ram from the very beginning so i never really had this problem. i still have the extra tubing if anybody needs it

 

I also have an ebay bomz intake w/ an aem dryflow filter...loving it so far no problems
