My 07 whistles, but mostly it's when I left off the gas, I hear it winding down like a supercharger. I think it has more to do with the piping than the throttle body, because it does seem like every single tC is different in that respect. But, if you want, you could always buy this and see if the whistle goes away.

My two cents is it will be amplified though. :D

yeah, my injen cai whistles at half throttle. it goes away if i push it harder, but i actually enjoy that sound. i automatically accelerate at half throttle anyway, so the whistle is an added bonus for me.
