Hey guys, I have done a lot of searching and a WHOLE lot of reading, so I am just looking for some definite answers that will help me clear up some questions.

I have the K&N CAI and TRD Exhaust. Just tonight I took on Installing a DC Sports Header and am dreading the Rasp that I am getting.

I have read many different things, everything from "get a new exhaust" to, "Install some resonators"

What I want to know is, What is my best option that will get me back to that nice rumble of the TRD Exhaust without taking any performance hits?

I seem to like the Idea of installing a resonator, but... How many should I put? I have read some people put 2 and some put 1. I have seen a video of a TRD Exhaust with a 30" Magnaflow Resonator and it sounded pretty good.

I guess my last lame question is... Where can I buy a Resonator, such as a 30" Magnaflow.

Contact a local muffler shop to see what they have. They are very likely going to have them in stock and will be albe to install it in under an hour.

Hey man,

I took my car down to Midas, they carry MagnaFlow gear... Well the guy said that I cant put one on my TRD Exhaust...

He lifted my car up and let me go under it and he showed me that there is nowhere to put one.

Was your car different? I have an '06, is yours an '05?

When I go under the car it looks like there is a Cat coming right off the end of the S-Pipe and then another Cat on the Midpipe right before the bend.

Any ideas?

The 2nd "cat" you are referring to is actually the stock resonator. It needs to be cut out and have the larger resonator welded in its place. The resonator does not go onto the axleback, but on the mid pipe in place of the undersized (for your application) stock unit.

Well after your clarification I think I will take my car somewhere else. The guy at Midas is obviously an idiot and I could barely understand him anyway.
