LSD
I've searched around, and cant seem to find anything, but does anyone know of a company that makes a good Limited Slip Diff for the TC that doesn't cost as much as the TRD one which IMO is ridiculously expensive.

no seriously though.... I am thinkinga bout doing a full on LSD/clutch/flywheel and I have looked at and read a great number of the clutch flywheel threads but am not really finding anything conclusive..

i have an trd lsd, clutchmaster stage 3 clutch, and competition clutch 9.5 pound flywheel.
because the flywheel is lighter and has less momentum, it is alot easier to stall out in first gear. but in it revs up alot quicker now.
as for the lsd, it is great, especially when pulling out of like a driveway and having to merge with traffic or taking hard turns, you don't have to worry about one wheel losing traction and getting all the power, both wheels just spin and pull. it makes a big difference in the timing amount of throttle input you can give the car when driving hard.
also, it is good in slippery conditions

but the shop mis-aligned my 5th gear synchro, and it was at a time i wasn't able to bring the car back to the shop that did it, so i took it to my dealership to have it fixed for $1980, and am currently working to recoupe the losses i suffered, but yeah, in total, my lsd installation has cost me $2980 dollars.
if you do it at your toyota dealership, it will cost about the same price as a transmission overhaul, which is about 1500. but it is warrantied atleast.
