Default Magnaflow Exhaust Spec Sheet.

For those of you who are looking forward to this exhaust, i just hope its about done and it sounds decent with a header. Looks well designed, however no resonator i may add.. lets keep our fingers crossed.

People have been waiting on that one for over 6 months. Also, it's the width of the stock pipe so I don't really see huge gains aside from the removal of the resonator.

im not buying any exhaust intill someone proves that there exhaust does not sound ricey/crappy with headers.... sound clips from inside and out side the car; aswell as being several feet away.

looks like the piping goes over the rear arms. good for those who are slammed and worry about clearance.

Best of luck Matt , just make sure you get a nice big resonator. Lol im hoping you can come up with a solution, to this ____ty exhaust syndrome.

Im pretty sure they'll have a resonator option. They do on pretty much all their exhaust systems.

The mandrel bends will help. Removal of the resonator does nothing for HP. It just changes the tone. 2.25" has been documented as ideal for NA 2.4L engines. 2.5" and 3" is good for FI, but you start to lose low end torque with an NA engine as the exhaust velocity is decreased.

depends on the design of the resonator.. if it's louvered or perferated

Ive heard the Magnaflow on a tC already. I forgot where I found the link. Probably on here. It sounds like like the TRD axle-back. Identical........

No, it was the Magnaflow.

The ZPI sounds the way it does because that car is turbo. I would like to buy the ZPI cat-back but I want some sound clips without a turbine muffling the sound.

Im going to look for the sound clip of the Magnaflow.

EDIT. I just noticed that the CC cat-back is the same thing as the Magnaflow cat-back. They both use Magnaflow mufflers except the Magnaflow cat-back uses a muffler that enters and exits on same side though.

I dont see why it wont sound like this?? This car has a highflow cat so that may have added a little more sound also.

yes it does depend if it is louvered or not. Perforated core is the way to go.
