OK i got a major problem here......I was on my way home tonight and my car felt a little funny it was driving wierd. So i slowed down to see what the deal was and i heard this AWFUL banging noise. It is a reptative knock but doesnt get louder. So i got to my apartment stopped and looked around and everything looks fine. I made sure everything was tight. But i've notice the noise happens when i am at a slow roll and pressing in the clutch and also when i let out but less when i let off the clutch and it happens in 1-3 its not gear specific. Anyone ever have similar problem? I am planning on taking to the dealer in the morning but ever since the last time i took it there my car has felt funny. I had been noticing a small tap at a roll but thought i was just being paranoid now its the same tapping but more audible. any help would be greatly appreciated.THANKS

i'm not sure because this has never happened to me, nor have i ever witnessed it, but could this be engine knock? If it is, it is not a good idea to drive because you can detonate your engine and become quite costly. But like i said, i really don't know, this is just a guess. Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge will see this and be able to help you. Hope it goes ok man...

First of all where is it coming from?????

 

OK got my car back already.....i was so ____ed when they told me what it was. The people that put on my wheels didnt tighten the lugs. My wheels have caps over them and like 2-3 lugs came off and were bouncing around in there. It sounded bad. Never taking my car back to them again. Cant even tighten lug nuts.
