Default Make my tC Faster ?

I've got a Cold Air Intake and exhaust system on my tC.
What could I do next that's not too expensive.

People been telling me all i can do to a tC is drop 5 grand for a Turbo and I'm not trying to do that.

Thanks

you meen a resistor that ebay charges you $20 for and claims great hp gains? umm... no

since you have an intake and exhaust (what kind? axel back? cat back? header back?)

get a header & sway bar

There aren't any racing chips for the tC. The junk you see on eBay is a lie. You could get it tuned with a piggyback ECU like Unichip or e-Manage, but the results aren't worth slight hp increase. they are really for when your go forced induction.

Have you done Headers and S-pipe yet?

Hey what's up? i c dat ur car has 18's on them. I just got some new black Motegi racing 17's put on mine.

People told me that I shouldn't get 18's because I have my tC lowered 2 inches. Is that bull?

Cause I really wanted 18's.

Yeah, they pretty much fed you a pack of lies. there is a Sticky in the Wheel and Tire forum that will tell you what combination wheel and tires will fit on tC's with various suspension drops.

If you got it from Toyota, it is just a TRD axel back muffler, which equals zero to very little hp gain.

If you want real exhaust, get the Dezod S-pipe back n/a exhaust and an S-pipe and header.

change the clutch, pulleys, flywheel and add an STS to get times lost by shifting...

If you could, slap on a SC!

Just get some HIDs. I noticed at least 50 more hp with that alone.

you only have one crank pully dude, the others are your water pump, alternator, and a/c compressor.

i have a zpi crank pully v2 anodized. you can get that or any other stock size lightweight pully, or you can get a nst 20% underdrive pully, nst 20% overdrive pully (keeps the alternator making enough power) and a light weight water pump pully, and a new serpentine belt to make it all fit.

i think nst says it takes off like .2 seconds off the 1/4 mile time of a stock tc which is the equivalent of removing 200 pounds from your car.

i love my zpi pully, works great, it is up to you and how much time and money you have.

new clutch isnt' neccessary unless he is pushing some serious extra power. the flywheel won't add hp either.

a flywheel won't add hp, but it does help somewhat. heavy flywheels are good for when you want to launch a car because they store more energy. but light weight flywheel let the engine rev faster once underway. but you lose rpms faster when you let off the gas.

put it on the bottle. 500 gets you a decent setup. i'd say a 50 or 75 shot is as much as you'd want to go on a stock engine.

I guess it's a good thing you're only ignorant "bout" cars and not grammar as well.

Is this a joke? This might be the statement of the century. I know some guys that put NOS stickers on their gas filler doors. I guess I'm lucky they're not "mi friends". By the way, shouldn't that be "mi amigos" or something?
