how much power can the manual trans hold?

 

I think a better question to ask yourself is not the HP the trans can withstand safely....but the clutch assembly. The stock setup.... clutch back I mean... The stock clutch can safely handle approx. 240 WHP. However, if you start getting into that range of WHP... it would behove you to replace the stock clutch...and also possibly look into adding and LSD while youre at it just to be safe.

 

would a dealership onstall the clutch if u brought it to them while they were gonna do a LSD?

 

depends on the dealership. some will, some won't. some dealerships don't wanna deal with the liability of installing non toyota/scion/trd parts because they can cause a fuzzy area when it comes to warranty on installations and such.

yeah.... earlier post is right... some will and some wont.... And Im sure the ones that would do that for you would only guarentee their work and not the parts if they arent Toyota/Scion parts.
