Whats up yall? Does the angle of the muffler burn the rear bumper? Just wondering because it looks a little close to the bumper when installed. Please let me know, I'm pretty set on buying this exhaust. Thanks.
yes, i would suggest getting a heat shield for it for the bumper if you plan on getting the drift spec.
yes, but you can get a shield if it bothers you..i didnt see it much on my car since i have a bsp. but others like white they had some black marks over where their exhaust is.
Sweet! Do they make a heat sheild specificly for the TC? I've seen them for EVOs and WRXs. Or will I have to buy a universal one? Any good websites that carry them? Thanks.

yo you can try bending hooks from the exhaust tip and or getting new rubber bushings.
I have one from the stock exhaust and a 1/2 in thick 3in long one that i got from Autozone. Goodluck

i dont seem to have a problem with mine. i get a little yellow tint on my bumper but it washes right off. no melting
^you could go that route, but good luck if you need to do a road trip of some sort. that's where my problem began.
Just go with a diff. exhaust.
I had the Drift Spec. The loudness gets to you after awhile. I have yet to hear a louder exhaust. And if you want to ever go down the road of getting a header, GL with that one.
I was like you back in the day. I was really set on this, then I bought it. I was happy with it for quite some time, but eh, it was time to move onto not sounding like a rice bucket.

totally agree with you, i put the silencer in for school and i fall right back in love with it when i get home and take it out.
I know there are cases where it has burned the rear bumper but at least for me, it hasn't, if/when you install it just make sure the tip comes further out then where the bumper is and if it doesn't just go back under the car and re-adjust.
