Default megan oe-rs owners?

I have a full megan setup s pipe, mid, oe-rs rear. Has anyone put a header on this and what was the result. I know most setups get loud and raspy with a header but mine is barely louder than stock as it sits now. I'd like to get some more power but with not too much noise since its a dd. Since this setup has 2 resonators and a real muffler, not canister I'm thinking it might not be that bad, any input?

"feeet" most exhuast sound ike garbage with no spipe. You have onlyt a header and catback witch means the pipeing changes diameters inbtween the header and catback becuase of the restricive s-pipe. try adding the spipe and then take sound clips. As for kizale. i think it will deff and some sound but the rs muffler is pretty good at keeping noise down, id say ur safe

i have the megan s-pipe, mid and OE-RS as well. upon putting on my Strup header, it didnt make it much louder. it did however make this annoying sound right at 3k-3.5k which sounded like a bunch of bees in a tin can. overall the exhaust tone was quiet for being completely aftermarket.

i chopped off both of the megan resonators on the midpipe and put on my own, and the annoying sound went away.

here is my thread i made about it: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=216082

and a sound clip: http://youtube.com/watch?v=QAJ4dEbjf44

Thanks for the input, that should help me make up my mind. I got my car almost how I want it, interior, exterior, wheels, suspension are done but I want a lil more power to complement my intake and exhaust. Now I still need to make up my mind about a pulley. Lots of info supporting both sides, it seems that the only ones who had bearing problems were 05s and they were with or without a pulley. On the other hand even if it is safe some have said the gains are not even noticeable. Hmmm
