even without the resonator, it will get better over time, trust me, I hated mine for a few months but now that the system is good and broken in, it sounds way better, barely any rasp at all, exect when its cold, once the engine and piping warms up it gets a really good sound to it.

the noise level however won't go away, it stays loud.

and I had a rattle on mine due the piping diamater, it was hitting the little brake under the mid-pipe, just go to the hardware store, buy some 3/8" risers, and longer bolts, it will get rid of it. or just pull it off.

even 27 is a little high.

I dynoed and gained about 15, thats intake, and full megan exhaust.

go forced induction and those 2 mods will improve even more.

you dont need to beat around the bush with "free money" youre just blowing your parents money....if you hadnt wasted $1000 by not shopping around online and being overcharged by megan you wouldnt have to work at all.

actually that money was from when my grandmother passed away, she left it to me. So don't say something before you know what your talking about.
also most of the expences came from Scion- 716 dollars for the axleback plus their installation. 255 dollars for a cat converter from meinike. and it was 896 dollars for the headers, down pipe, and cat-back from megan.

718 for trd axle back. Holy poop. you got ripped off.
255 for a cat, man don't ever go to meinke agian. around here you can get a high flow for 60 bucks and the local exhaust shop will weld it in for 40. you got ripped.

I did my entire megan setup for less than a grand.

Just because it's free and YOU didn't earn that money it doesn't mean you should go around spending it like it's meaningless. I think that's all anyone here is trying to say, we're not trying to put you down but think you could've spent less money on exactly what you did get. We're just trying to look out for other SL members. I hope you learn from this and will ask for advice in future purchases...
