are these a good combo on a tc. and is it worth 325? I have read a lot of threads on the header....and just wondering if it is a good combination on a tc? Yes , I know I repeated myself, haha. Thanks

i heard that headers make the car sound like ___ unless you install another cat or af.

 

i think the sound should be fine...anyone else have my combination of stuff and like it. (ie wr intake, injen exhaust, and soon to be megan header and s pipe)

 

Powerwise it's well worth it. Sound wise, the car will be super loud!!! I had to install a resonator and cat in order to hear my radio.

Yes, many people have put the stock muffler on and it elimates 98% of the rasp.

Do your self a favor and get a resonator or 2. Any local muffler shop should have em.

 

it's certainly a nice price but im hoping theres an easy fix somewhere for the CEL problem. I believe Megan has been a pesky little bastard in this department, anti-fouler or not.

Every day I'm leaning more and more toward a supercharger instead of a turbo since I'd rather not have to deal with all of the maintenance and possible problems. and if I do the super, then I'd rather get the header installed before it :p

 

The MMW antifouler has been proven to work. Also the Turbonetics kit uses and extended peice of pipe and it works for their turbo kit.

I wouldnt see why those methods would not work on the MEGAN.
