Default No Axel back in SC?

I'm wondering if I could just remove my axle back. Do i need to fab up a hanger for the end of the mid pipe or will it be ok hanging. I have no desire to rip up my header gasket. The reason I'm not currently thinking of not getting an aftermarket is because I'm saving all extra cash to get my camaro back on the road. I need some sound to help with shifting though the dinky little tack blows.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks

I highly do not reccomend it. Your gonna have a horrible smell in the car, its gonna look like your car is falling apart, and its gonne be LOUD.

its up to you. But please dont!!!

thats a negative for sure! just take it off, it only takes 10 mins. then lets see how quick you throw it back on! IT SOUNDS AWFUL! and plus i dont think youll make enough money for it to be worth it.

I did it and drove with it for about 30 minutes then I couldn't take it anymore. Not worth the hassle IMO

i took mine off.... doesn't sound that bad... granted the first night i drove with it i thought it was way too loud... but then i got used to it.

i got a turndown made for it too so the mid-pipe wouldn't just dangle there. no smell or problems thus far.. have had it for a month i'd say now like that.

do what you want... but it's most likely it's not a legal mod to do.

Default damn

Yeah i bought and installed a megan cat back. Sounds a little ricey for my taste but it'll do. While i had it unbolted i ran the car for a couple mins. I REALLY liked it without the midpipe resonator or muffler. That first cat in the header mellows it out quite a bit. It sounded similar to an SRT-4 with all the backfirin and what not. Oh well!!! Hey anybody want my megan?
