What is the "big" difference between these two exhaust systems? I have done some scionlife as well as Google searches....and I can't seem to find what I am looking for

oe-rs is oem style
drift spec is canister

 

i'm assuming you're referring to the tip...Does it make any difference other than looks?

 

I am pretty sure the drift spec will be louder since it is the canister style. Also the oe-rs is more expensive than the drift spec

 

Its all about what style you like better. Look up some youtube clips then decide.

 

its all in how you want it to look. the drift spec is a straight-thru canister style that comes out the back angled up and to the right. the oe-rs is OEM-styled and is probably a lot quieter.

i had the drift spec and loved the look and sound.

 

I had the Megan OE-RS, it takes a loong time before you really get it "broken in" to hear any noticeable noise but its very deep, not loud due to the HUGE muffler. Also after a while the big can will turn yellow-ish, mine did. To be honest with you HKS sounds the best. I got mine yesterday and it sounds amazing, its louder than the Megan OE-RS but quieter than the Drift Spec.

 

OE-RS is very low nice little purr after 3k rpms. drift spec is a fart can and sounds louder ofcourse. if u get the catbacks there the same midpipe jus different axlebacks. drift spec is ofcourse lighter due to it being a canister and OE-rs is heavier cause of its "oem style" shape
