I have a HKS axle back and was wondering if i took out the resonator on the stock mid pipe and make it a straight pipe would it create alot of rasp with stock header?

I'm surprised there will be no rasp at all without the resonator, does anyone here have that set up?

The HKS is a deep toned can that does good job of drowning out the higher raspy notes,with stock header yo are already taking a lot of rasp out of the exhaust already,this is why they put such a crappy resonator ont he car stock,a really good one is not needed that tunes out sound.

 

I got 2.5" custome mid pipe straight pipe .But i have there its kinda like turbo pipe or glasspack . Inside it look like chees schreder but if u look through it there is nothing just straight and i have injen exhaust and no rasp just nice deep tone. hope this helps

i have the same exhaust but when i installed my header it was raspy so i replaced my cat and put a glasspack on and there was no rasp after and it was nice
