Default Midpipe + Muffler vs. Full Cat-back??

Hey everyone, I currently have a TRD Axle Back Exhaust, Injen CAI and Invidia S-pipe. Would it be more beneficial (make more power) to swap out my TRD Exhaust for a Megan Drift-Spec full catback or just add a Megan OE-RS Midpipe? Thanks

This is my amature (SP?) answer, You have an axle back and spipe, those are two good thing to have if your looking for that power. But you are also running with a stock mid pipe, if i'm not mistaken the diameter of those pipes are different. What you are looking for is pipes with the same diameter all the way back untill the muffler.

For a simple answer without reading the above is get the Megan Drift spec. Why you might ask. Get it and find out

I have the PM axle-back and no s-pipe, but i'm getting a custom midpipe eventually. you bought your axle and s-pipe, now just finish it off. replacing it, for me IMO, is a quiter's job . and if your satisfied with the sound of it, don't change it!

they say the spipe if most restrictive...

the midpipe from megan is 2.5"

the stock is 2.25" don't expect to be knocked back into your seat...
but it will free up a little more airflow

if you pick up a midpipe from megan it would most likely be about the same. but...get the drift spec! mine:

pick the one you like better, gains won't be much of a difference in the end anyway so go with the one you like better (looks and sound).
