Default MMW Header CEL Light

I got my MMW header set up along with the s-pipe about 1-2 weeks ago, i got it installed and checked for leaks and everything was fine. At around 200Miles later on the highway my CEL came on, i took it back to the shop to check for leaks, and made sure nothing was loose by retightning every sensor and every bolt. And nothing showed up, im still with my CEL light on , does anybody have any idea why am i getting this ? with my last set up on the alphawerks and the antifouler i didnt get a CEL at all and i had that set up for over 4k miles.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

are you using the MMW CEL Eliminator? If so, try using to old anti-foulers. Also, have you gotten the code read yet? You could have damaged an o2 sensor....

when you took off the OEM header you eliminated one of Cats. the O2 sensers checked air that passed from the first O2 senser THROUGH THE CAT and then ended after the second O2 Sensor. so now the computer is confused because of the unchecked air flow.

When I got my MMW header after 200 or so miles my CEL came on. about 3 weeks later I got a Custom exhaust made. when it was made I got a Cat installed. I moved the second O2 bung behind the second cat. (one not on the header) this required me to extend my second O2 wire about 16 inches.
now the air goes from the first O2 senser to through the cat (on the acutal exhaust) to the second O2 senser.

no CEL. no antifouler and no extra parts on my exhaust system...

any questions?

lol seriously if there are any questions PM me or post up...I'll be watching...

That sounds like extra parts to me. If I remember correctly, the stock o2 sensor would be too short to move 16 inches down the midpipe. Also, you had to buy a custom exhaust as you said... o_O?

Maybe I'm reading it wrong?

No extra parts as in "antifouler" or any of that hardware. Just extra wire to extend the o2.

That is correct, I only had the wire made to be longer to reach past the second cat. I'm sorry to say I didn't have a quick fix, but I just thought it'd shed a little light as to why you were throwing a code and offer a possible solution.

i finally got the antifouler seperated abit farther from the s-pipe, unplugged the battery for like 20-30mins, then plugged it back on and it was gone, ive driven today at least 60-80miles, and no cell yet !

hopefully it stays like that !
