Also make sure you have it installed on the S pipe O2 sensor. I had a customer call and he put it on the first O2 sensor. Also our CEL eliminator is adjustable by how far you thread it in or out of the S pipe. Sometimes playing with how far you thread it in or out works. any questions feel free to call, email , or message.
bump i need help with this now, i just installed my MMW header with the cel eliminator and i still have a CEL? i messed around with the cel elimnator, moving it on th s pipe like 1/4 way threaded or 1/2 way etc.. didnt do anything..
didnt get the code read yet so i cant tell if its the primary o2 or secondary.. help?
oh yeah and i have a new universal primary o2 sensor. pretty sure i connected it right..
oem has 4 wires, 2 black (heater), 1 blue (signal), and 1 white (ground).. and the aftermarket one has 2 white (heater), 1 black (signal), and 1 grey (ground)
car was fine when i tested it around the block, no hesitation or anything but once i turn my car off and start it again i get a CEL.

i have this on my tc, and all i can say it occasionally i get a CEL for deficient cat, but it is funny, the engine will be running alittle rough, i'll plug in my scanguage, read the code, and clear it and suddenly the car will run fine again. seems to happen durring the changing of the season, and the air density effects the engine i suppose since it has happened about the same time each year.
anyway, first you have to make sure what code it is you're throwing, and if you're moving the thread in and out, you gotta reset the ecu or clear to the code and see if it comes back again to determine if it worked.

Once you install the CEL eliminator disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. Reconnect the battery and then turn on the car. Let the car idle for at least 10 minutes. No revving the engine.
Had the same trouble with my DME header. Tried everything. CEL would be off but when I started to drive around or go on the freeway it would come back on. Then I got a CEL eliminator from InLikeFlint. His instructions said to do what I just described above. Now no CEL and haven't had one since.

use your old headers cat or buy a cheap cat on ebay, bust out some of the honeycomb and shove it in the anti-foulers or the cel eliminator. this filters any air that flows to the sensor. perfect fix. i had the CEL problem with my DC headers for over 6 months trying everything known to man, including a o2 sensor simulator. this fix worked the first time and has been working for thousands of miles.
