Okay I searched for months on this and have the motor torn apart and can not find anything. Here whats going on...

I had a used motor put in the car. Long story short I was at work and I started my car and the engine started to make a knock sound. The oil light came on and it started to knock even harder so I shut the car down and had it towed to my house. I found metal flake in the bottom of my oil pan. Also what looked like or similar to a lock washer. In the oil pan I check cams vavles, Pistons, bearings and found nothing.

Any ideas. I thought about doing a oil cycle and take the oil filter off and put the motor back together and retime the car and see if that works anyone have this problem?

 

shavings and washer..... sounds to me like u broke something check your bearings
