Yeah but i wonder if the O2 sim makes any difference as far as dyno numbers. The a/f mixture might be a factor, you and i flint have the antifouler mod which i hear screws up the mixture a bit, i wonder what hes got. Most likely the o2 sim.
Where did you here that from? The second 02 sensor has nothing to do with air/fuel ratio. all it measures is exhaust gases to make sure that the cat is working properly. The way the antifouler works is placing the sensor far enough from the exhaust gases to give a different reading from the first o2 sensor. The map sensor is what dictates a/f ratio.

Read it somewhere on the forums, it was not a confirmation just a postulation.

the 02 sim is pretty straight forward.

you should of recieved a diagram with the o2 sim.

brown is ground, green goes to a green wire and the black one connects to the ECU and the existing black wire from the car gets d/c'ed.

ill double check it 2morrow.

and of course, there are proper ways of installing you parts. did you let your idle for a while? drive under 4rpm for a lil bit? then push your car to the roof?

tats exactly wat i did.

i installed the o2 sim 1st. turned on car to checkfo CEL. then i installed the headers. let it idle for 5 mins. drove up and down the street. 4rpm, then 5 rpm, then 6rpm, then i hammered the gas.

if you get headers, make sure you have the exhaust too. you feel a BIG difference between headers alone and

headers and exhaust. i unbolted my muffler for one day and MAN did i feel the pull

I can he got rid of one 3 way catalytic converter. I put my Alphawerks header on and the under the hood temp was lowered by at least 30 degrees.

I'm more impressed by the guy who dyno'd 149 with just an intake and the non-effective TRD exhaust.

The header thing i'd expect since you're removing a cat.

I plan on doing a few dyno sessions, but they'll be a few months off. It'll be a bone-stock baseline, SRI + greddySP2, and then SRI/Sp2/ s-pipe . I'm doing it to help verify the claim that the s-pipe is the most restrictive part of the system (as made by CC on the site)

awesome! I want to get the AW header too, but then i read the antifouler can be bad and get worse gas mileage, and the 02 costs a lot!

If you get the header im sure it would be ok for E-Check, but what about the s-pipe and header, would that make you fail E-Check do you think? But I dont think new cars have to be tested for awhile, and I thought I read they were getting rid of Emission stuff here in Ohio...I hope so!

Sucks cause I want the header and spipe, but that pipes like $150 and its just a "pipe" grr. If the headers are giving that much HP on a dyno, I am getting more and more excited to see the numbers once somebody has the supercharger, header, s-pipe and full exhaust! Should be interesting to see what we can run with a reliable setup that wont void the warranty!

awesome, when do u expect to have the results posted? I am anxious to see how it does, as I've read its restrictive, but I wanna see how much. See if its $150 worth or whatever it costs...think that was about right...

Are you going to get an exhaust too and test again after that? That'd be sweet if u do that too! If u are getting one, what do u plan to get?
