Default My oil pressure need feedback

I am using a Glo Shift sandwich adapter with a electric Glo shift oil pressure gauge.
When I put this in I was stuned to see the pressure readings
oil is a 5-30 Amsoil full synthetic on a S/C motor

At cold start up oil pressure goes very high 70psi at idle
After getting the engine to running temp
Idle 7-10 psi ( which I know they run a low oil pressure at idle)
3000 RPM 60 - 70 psi
Red line 90 plus

does these readings continue to climb like that because of the sandwich adapter being before the bypass?

Just seems high Have searched the forum and have seen other posts but I know the setup changes it. anyone have any readings to compare.

Second question does the valve lash on the 2.4 need adjusted periodicly?

oil pressure at idle 4.3 psi ( or more)

@ 3000 22 to 80 psi

Yours seems about right.

Well why on earth would you go with glo-shift? thats your number one problem. Go prosport or go home.

Originally I only had the boost gauge connected and had to put the gauges somewhere Glowshift had the pillar mount. The only issue I have with Glowshift gauges is they are always changing color and I have to reset them when I start the car.
If I was really going to put a good set of gauges in there they would be Autometer

Im telling you if you want good gauges at a great price check out prosport. Gloshift cant even spell things right on there site and there products are cheap for a reason. But GL.

I was driving today and I noticed that my oil presssure seems like it has decreased recently.

At start up I was around 65-80 based on RPM, but once it warmed up I was some where around 50-60 at cruising speed (around 4000 RPM).

Based on the above, this seems pretty low. Is it a problem?
