Default Need Cherry Bomb advice!

I'm fairly new to the whole Scion movement i always loved the tC but never looked into it. As luck should have it I bought one last year and have been in love with it ever since. I love how enthusiastic people are about this brand! Anyways enough kissing ___ lol My question is... I recently bought a muffler from eBay cheap lol I mainly want it for looks but I would love to get some horses out of it as well. I'm gonna get a custom cat back done by a local shop. they do awesome jobs! A local tuner "expert" lol told me to a get a Cherry Bomb! I don't even know what that is lol but I would would love to learn! so what I want is a deep sounding exhaust that doesn't sound like a speed bike near the high RPMs and gives me a few ponies.

So Cherry Bomb? or not? ------- Thanks!

You can use a "cherry bomb" style muffler in place of the factory resonator with fantastic results. My last setup had a 24" Dynomax Thrush Magnum in place of the resonator-- complete rasp killer.

Using it as the muffler alone... can you say LOUD?

Can you explain to me what a "cherry bomb" is? What it does and where it goes?

Cherry Bomb used to be known only for their glasspacks, which is what I was referring to. Apparently, they now offer a full line baffled (resonating) mufflers, like SpinTech or some of the Dynomax and Flowmaster offerings.

If the dude can get you a good price, go for it-- baffled mufflers beat the snot out of packed mufflers in terms of performance, every single time. The Cherry Bomb Pro, Elite, and Extreme are all baffle-type mufflers.

Not much to look at, but they get the job done.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting the Megan Mid-pipe for my tC in addition to the Tsudo Fireball Axel back.

How will this setup sound, I'm hoping to get a deep, yet loud growl.
