Just got a Injen CAI for my tC and now im looking to get exhaust! I love the way the TRD sounds! 2 drawbacks...expensive and only axelback and I hear there are no power gains...I have also been looking at the tanable catback...need some advice! will i notice power with the catback! What are some good sites where i can find these exhausts cheap?

 

tanabe had a catback? never knew. catbacks usually have more gains than a axleback, but the difference probably won't add up enough for you to actually feel it. you'll hear it, but thats usually it. as for the sites, i'll leave it to people who actually have aftermarket exhausts to post.

 

i have an injen cai as well as an injen ses axle back exhaust and love the way it sounds. can't say i notice a huuuuge difference in performance, but from what i have read, some gains have been made with these mods.

 

Wont really feel i big gain with exhaust 1 or 2 whp for the most

 

just get the best sounding exhaust doesnt matter if its axleback, any exhaust mods wont give gains you want unless you are turboed

 

hmm, didn't think tanabe made any catbacks for the tC as of yet....both the concept g and medallion are axle back,....concept g is really low, and very clean sounding.....most of these NA bolts ons yield minimal power gains,like i/h/e is around 10-12 whp, mostly on the top end, so it 's whaetever brand/sound you like is what you should choose!
