Default need some help with thermostat

Hi guys

Need some advice what to do to change the thermostat.
I'm wondering if there is any plug so i can get rid off coolant?
Got some problems with warming up the engine so i start with the thermostat first. Any advices
Thanks in advance

thanks guys that's what i've been looking for.
I search also about how much coolant will go into Tc but didn't find the answer.
Also is there any special way to fill up the system?

There are little white wingnut looking things at the top of the radiator, once you fill the system (including overflow tank), let the car run for just a sec and open one of those until the air stops and fill her up. Keep an eye on the overflow tank for the next day or two to make sure you're not running low.

In regards to how much coolant, "Cooling system capacity - manual transmission 6.8L(7.2qt) - auto 6.7L(7.1qt)"

Above was found on https://www.scionlife.com/forums/scion-tc-1g-owners-lounge-1605/must-read-tc-owners-manual-cliff-notes-12963/ . Nifty little sticky.
