Need YOUR help.
Tonight, I was cruising down a hill in my car, and all of a sudden, VROOM VROOM! the engine started to rev up to 3,000 rpm. So I was like, wtf? I hadn't even touched the gas pedal. I had to press down the gas for it to shift down... I've never experienced this before, is this normal?

No it wasn't on cruise. It just freaked me out because i've never had a car do that before. And my car always likes to go up and down on the rpms little by little for some reason and I thought something was just messed up in my engine, and it felt like i was just having to push harder to accelerate. Any advice? or just being ****?

its the ect...your torque converter giving out(normal, how it acts like a clutch like thing) to let you get the best blend of hp.gas mileage
shifting down on hills(both up and down) is normal, all auto tcs do it, it is built in, jsut takes time getting used to.....its nice in a way, helps slow car down safer, easier on brakes in the long run
