Default Nitrous Questions

I'm waiting for my tC to arrive on the boat next week and wanted to know what my options were.

I have the Nitrous Express Stage I kit waiting in my basement for the tC to come provided the answers are reasonable, otherwise I might just sell it. Its never been opened other than enough to fill the bottle.

What concernes are there with running the NX Stage I kit right out of the box on the tC engine?

Are the axles strong enough to drag with a 75-shot without breaking on an actual strip?

How much of a shot can the stock clutch handle before it needs to be replaced with something more sturdy?

Can the transmission handle it?

Who and where are the nitrous resources for the tC so far? I've got questions and I'm not sure where to turn other than here.

Thanks folks

TC's axles are beefy as hell,,,good for over 300, clutch is good for over 250...you should be fine...personally though, I would not go over a 50 shot for engine life reasons!

there are some interesting comments you'll get to this, but i'll copy a quote from someones signature:

"a car with nitrous is like a hot girl with std's - you really want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences"

i was told by zpi that the intake manifold will mess up with alot of use of a 125 shot but any thing less should be fine just keep it to a min. on use the main reason to use nitorus is to have the power of a turbo or sc with out the constant wear and tear pluss $40 to fill a bottle will dig deep in you your pockets if your running with the get on every where lol but have fun i cant wait to get my ____ setup soon

We sprayed our TC with 120 shot for over 15 bottles. It is now undergoing a stage 3 for our turbo kit. The only failure we had is the intake manifold broke. I would put a fuel pump in the car just to be safe.

especially if running a wet kit. It is the best 100 you will ever spend. A 75 shot will be fine you will want to change your plugs also to ngk or denso. If you take these to steps you should be fine forever. We sprayed the hell out of ours and we are not boosting it we have yet to see how much abuse these motors will take.

Anyone use VENOM yet?
I've spoken to them and they still have an exclusive vendor for SCIONS... we'll have to wait and see now won't we?

what the F*** is venoms website addy...I've been wasting my afternoon trying to find it. I HATE it when businesses let their pages go to junk. Anyhow, ZPI were using any peticular companies set up? I have always used ZEX set ups and liked them. But I've been emailing them for weeks about a kit, and they wont reply...so I think they just lost my business.
