Default OEM replacement radiator?

-my radiator seems to have a small leak towards the top driver's side mount. at first i thought it was comming from the upper hose, but upon closer inspection it was near the area. currently just gobbles up my reserve tank coolant, but then my car still can maintain EOT and not overheat.

-did a search on the web and found this one. well its a few different types of radiators that would be OEM replacements. so which one would be good? not too knowledgeable of buying a radiator.-

I bought a Koyo OE replacement radiator for my girlfriend's Prelude once. It was a direct replacement, everything fit perfectly. Here's a link that I found for a Koyo replacement for the tC's. They're pretty well known for the performance radiators as well, so I guess you can't go wrong with them. Probably better to get a Koyo radiator rather then some generic brand.

By the way do you have an automatic or manual transmission? Usually manuals can use the same radiators as automatics, but they don't just don't use the resovoirs for transmission cooling. You may want to check though.

You're welcome. Did you decide on what radiator you're getting yet?

-yes im probably going with koyo. does the OEM fan shroud work with the koyo radiator or will i need a new one.

-currently my stock radiator is working (have an engine temp gauge), ranges around 175 to 181 F

Did replacing just the radiator grill/frame solve your issue? Or did you also need to replace the fans and/or upper/lower tubes?

I have what sounds like a similar leak on the passenger side of a 2005 Scion TC manual transmission. The pink residue is right along the frame as follows:

Thanks.
