The fact that they use the word "plasma" in the product description makes me leary. We know there's no plasma in there...kind of makes it seem like a gimmick.

Plasma is the 4th state of energy. An electrical arc in a gaseous environment can create plasma. Ever heard of Saint Elmo's Fire (not the 80's B Flick). You can creat plasma in a high powered microwave oven and a wooden match (google. it will blow your mind).

Seeing that the Okada Projects Direct Plasma utilizes CDI (capacitant discharge induction) to create multiple electrical arcs in a atomized/compressed gaseous environment. I believe this to be an accurate statement. I am not knocking you for hesistance in believing this product. There are alot of charletons out there selling crap, but this is the real deal here. AEM, Mallory, MSD, and others have CDI systems for high RPM apps.

the stock ignition is more than capable of handling pretty much anything you throw at it under the 5-600whp range. OEM Coil packs are as good as its gonna get for 95% of tC owners on here

some of the evo guys are running these with no misfires at 36 psi, as the stock coil packs would misfire randomly.

approx. $600 plus for a set for our car, might be worth it if you're high boostin'.
