Old school greddy exhaust
I got myself an old school greddy exhaust from my friend Freddy and I want to know what you guys suggest I do to remove the rust / oxidation on the tip. I cant sand it because then it leaves it venerable to even more rust. Is there a way to do this? I dont know anything about exhausts or any tricks so I need some tips! I dont want it to rust out because I like having parts on my car that aren't made anymore, like fiberglass kaminari, and this greddy exhaust they havnt made in a while.

You can see some rust there on the tip.

I have a mini grinder with mini buffing pads I use to buff and polish interior pant jobs. I hope that really works. If it does id polish it once every now and then to keep it looking oh la la! Thanks guys.
if I torch the tip to make it look like the torched tips would that work? Or just look kind of wanabeeish. Its my first exhaust I want it looking great!

You can try Bar Keepers Friend........it is used to remove rust and crap from stainless steel........most commanly used in restaurants......cost like $2 at grocerystore.......it is abrasive free and then you can use a good metal polish and buff the shine back into the surface to new...........it will work.........
