Ouch... that sucks...that's when you think...why did I do that. How did he feel after that??

vvti24....seriously...DUI's are not cool. When I was growing up and first started driving...I would litterally be driving with a 40 on my left and my boys in the car all drinking. I thought it was cool until I got older and flipped a car over and almost got all of us killed. $2500 in fines, 3 days in jail and now being paranoid everytime I have like one beer and drive is not cool. Second offense is one year jail time manadatory.
It's cool and all but you don't realize the consequences until it finally happens. So don't let it get that far.

Hell in Louisiana, we're drinking at 14.

It's almost a right of passage to get a DWI !!

if you keep your hand on top of the shift ****, rather than wrapped around the side, you are less likely to shift into 2nd in a 3-4 gear shift

The part of the brain that has all the logic and common sense doesn't fully develop until you reach 25 or so years. This is the part of the brain that keeps you from driving drunk and planting your foot in the gas as well as organizational skills used for things like keeping your room neat. The first part of your brain that shuts down when you start drinking is the part that makes you realize that you are getting drunk - self evaluation - the part that says "I have been drinking therefore I should not drive!" - poof turned off!! I personally have only been a little drunk - 1 glass of wine - once in my life I think it was on my 50th birthday - hard to remember - another effect of drinking - you forget the great time you had - maybe? There are plenty of things to do that don't involve drinking that are plenty of fun. Oh and btw hitting a tree will probably get you killed and then someone else have to clean up the mess you make. Them freeking trees are really strong and hard!

I'm so sick of everyone getting on a forum and whine their righteous babble. FIRST these people that drink drunk, street race, etc are friends, family or close to someone. These are the people that should be telling them not to do these things. Do you honestly think some random person on a forum is going to change you? If you really wanna be so righteous go find all the people around you that do these things (EVERYONE knows an alcholic) and tell them. Whats really funny is that I bet over half of you self-proclaimed messiahs have probably done something similar before but now you are SAVED. Hallelujah!
