Bringing this thread back from the dead.

I am having this same issue and cannot pass NYS inspection. 2005 tC, factory exhaust, bout 60,000 miles. Car runs excellent, catalytic converter does not appear to be going bad. Is there something I can do to clear the CEL and avoid paying hundreds to replace a perfectly functioning exhaust manifold?

Boosted 05 tC throwing a CEL code is a P0420 it is for my secondary o2 sensor. If i used the non-foulers technique do you think it'll clear up that code for me or no?

I know I'm a bit late to this party... I had this code over the summer. I gutted the first cat and did the spark plug no fouler on the stock header and the code only came back once on a long road trip. Passes NY inspection just fine.
