paddle shifters SUUUUUUUUUCK unless they are on a manual gearbox and are designed using 1000's of hours of work, trial and error. And even then they normally dont get them right.
There are two setups for them on todays cars. The affordable route (most cars that have them) is just an automatic tranny with flappy paddles on the wheel that take the place of the shifter on the floor. They dont shift any faster than the auto shifts for you.. in otherwords.. slow enough to eat a sandwich in between. Those are for cheaper cars that want to look more expensive
Then there are the true setups on manual gearboxes found on Mazerattis, ferraris, etc. You dont want to attempt that either as those require a separate computer to control.
And besides.... a stick shift is still better

i gaurentee you that you dont have enough technical knowledge to fabricate working paddle shifter yourself.
and for the amount of money youd spend taking it somewhere to get it done, youd def. be better off buying a come that comes with them from the factory.

If you want the looks that bad they have the "fake" padles that go around the steering wheel on ebay. But i think that's pretty friggen ricey.

ok i didnt say i was going to but necessarily but it would be a first so dont knock me for speaking my mind

where knocking u cause it would be completely pointless, moronic & unnecessary on a scion tc. if u really wanted a car wit paddle shifters u would have gotten a lancer. so lets keep the rice to a minimum on these cars its bad enough we have people puttin "jdm" sh*t on our cars and ricing them up real bad
