Default Performance Gains

I am planning on ordering a new TC sometime in the next few months.

Does anyone know what the performance gains would be with the following TRD Equipment?
TRD Exhaust
AEM CAI
TRD Clutch Assembly
TRD Short Shifter
I am also thinking about getting the TRD Shocks and Struts not to sure about the lowering spings I am a little worried about scraping if I decide to put a body kit on later on down the road.
Also does anyone know if you keep your stock parts or does the dealership?

Exhaust and CAI will see minimal gains (5hp or so). The TRD exhaust is actually an axle back exhaust, it's not a full system. It will definatly sound different (in a good way) with the exhaust and cai though.
As for the clutch and short shifter, it will improve performance and feel much more. I'm not sure why you would need the clutch though, the stock should be more than fine for the street.
And yes, you should be able to keep everything.

also as far as the trd springs, the drop on them is only 1.25" so you should be fine with these springs and a body kit and not have to worry about scraping. well i guess that also depends on what body kit you plan on going with. but i think it would be safe to have those springs and not worry about scraping.

No. 197whp at most, thats the biggest dyno run i've seen on a not stock motor, with aftermarket f/i exhaust set up. its only a 40-50whp gain, with stock numbers in the 130-140whp range you can do the math. Its not 200+. If he wants big power go with ZPI. Stage 0 kit i believe delivers 210-220whp, the stage 1 kit puts down between 290-300whp. TRD is not worth the money you dish out, if you are going to do it do it right.

Coilovers or s-tech springs
zpi stage 1
hks exhaust with zpi s pipe or zpi exhaust and s pipe

and whatever else you want.

of course, if you don't care about whp, get the TRD for a fun driver. But, IMO, if you are going to go with f/i you might as well do it big.

it's 200+ at the crank, and it might be 200+ at the wheel w/o the reflash.

Default Thanks

I appreciate it everyone. The main reason I was going with TRD Parts is the fact that they do not void the factory warranty. I am not looking for big horsepower right now just a daily driver that I can have a little fun in.

Default Honda Civic

I drove one last week I didn't really get a chance to feel what kind of power the car had though. I have been thinking about just ordering a stock TC and working on it little by little as TRD's part selection starts growing or hopefully getting stronger. I like the look of the TC better. I still haven't found how much the Si's are starting at. I keep hearing under 20000 but that is a little hard to believe. I went to the Honda Dealership and they didn't know either.

Your car wont get that fast if you stick with TRD stuff unless you get the S/C. What do they offer for HP gain? CAI is not out yet, muffler, and S/C. Not much you can do. If you want to go fast, dont buy extended warranty and go outside the box . Or just get the darn S/C. I would have bought and SC if it was out when I bought the car.

Default Bad Thing

Only bad thing is that you can't finance the SC or the CAI which should be out now it was in the dealer catalog when I test drove the TC last week. Everything else you can finance with the vehicle.

Trust me, they will finance it. It will just like a dealer's special edition tC where they put bunch of stuff and hike the price.

Although the s/c isn't stock. Its from the factory, but stock the 2az is n/a. So i wouldn't consider a boosted 2az to be stock at all.

You want to get better gains, and look for big numbers. Don't waste your time with the trd crap, go strictly aftermarket and get a turbo.
