I've had the header on for about 2 or 3 months now and I have no problems what so ever!!! I just got the spark plug cover last Friday and love it!!!! I got it from nd4spd_4_a_tc from afterhours autosports powder coated in blue metallic and it just makes my engine bay look ALOT cleaner...Here are the pics...let me know what u think!!!

they actually look clean...did it throw a cel? If so, what did you do to correct it...did it come with an antifouler? And how much was it and where did u get it?

 

i like the header a lot!!! it didn't throw a cel cuz i bought the antifouler, installed it on the s-pipe and haven't had a cel!!! i got it from ebay for 227 shipped!! ya i know its dusty under the hood but in some pics i cleaned it up a bit...i'll take some daytime pics this weekend....what did u guys think about the spark plug cover???

The quality on that header is way better than I thought it would be. Keep up the good work. How are the power gains with the header?

 

power gains are decent...i feel it in the top end at most. fitment was perfect there were no problems with the fitment.

 

OBX must be the same as the HPR header I got b/c they have the EXACT same form. The left most tube runs about .5 inches away from the oil dipstick and the other three have the same curve to them.

Mine is great and power gains around about mid-high rpms as was stated with the OBX.


I agree, fitament was no problem and power gains are there. No CEL ever (antifouler trick)

 

I assume that rasp is the same as other headers out?

 

Mine was actually not noticeable until I got the Draxas kit. I have gone through a bunch of modification of the exhaust and now, my setup produces absolutely no rasp. Just deep.

Yeah, the inside of the tubes were very smooth, welds were very clean and fitament was dead on. Works for me and I've got about 18K on it now and it's great.

 

If you look at the collector its very close to the DC unit. I bet these are just non coated DC headers.

I like it. I'd put more blue in the engine bay though. Looks a little off with just a blue valve color and nothing else.

 

no, my s pipe is aftermarket as well. MMW is the only header that comes with the s pipe. No other header for the tC comes with it.
