it doesnt matter what year, we get them at the local scion dealership. you wont find them on ebay. this is an oem part and youll only get it where they sale toyota oem parts.

i've seen 185whp-220whp with these pistons, it has to do with the supporting mods.
for example: these pistons with i/h/e and a tune with a piggyback that controls only a/f you will see like 185whp, add to that a pnp head with valve angles and youll see 195ish. and if you add to that cams, intake manifold and youll see 204whp like me. add to that some kind of engine management that can control everything like a/f, ign timing, rev limiter etc.... youll see 215+.

im sitting at 204whp with all the supporitng mods, except 1mm oversized valves wich are coming soon and engine management wich will come by the end of next year, unless i get sponsored

Do you have any clearance problems with the valves? especially if your going with larger valves.

Thanks for the info. If I did a build like this I would use a Dezod/Phillips piggyback, if they are still available. The last time I checked Dezod's website there was no price listed.

no upgraded injectors what so ever, not even upgraded fuel pump. everything oem. we dont use e85 because in puerto rico is not available like in the states, plus to run e85 youll have to get new injectors and engine management to get everything out of it. we still dont have engine management on our cars and we still hit 205whp with piggybacks, we will deff in the future run ems.

Bigger valves, higher compression pistons, etc etc aren't going to net 50ish hp n/a. It's pretty simple. Sorry common sense is hard to come by in this forum. Also, OPINION is funny, especially when people do listen to someone that knows what they are talking about. Something you can't say much.

That's cool man. I just value the poking of a troll plus iirc you don't even own a Tc anymore so just because you want to share your vast knowlege on a topic you know nothing about. You've never been there or done that so you are giving an opinion because you haven't done it. You speak in absolutes when you have no ground to speak on. Btw when you build a 400hp Tc then you can judge me.

I lol'd simply because common sense says it will take 5x the amount of money that its worth to make power that a turbo will add. And since when did selling a car mean that ASE certifications and working in the industry become negated? Odd reasoning, but hey if you think a tC is a power horse, go for it.
