Default PLEASE HELP!!! GENKI SHORT SHIFTER IS KICKING MY ___...

So i tried installing my short shifter this morning only to find nothing but failure. It didn't even fit properly so I couldn't event finish the installation. I ordered the shifter from genki tuning and this is what they gave me...

1) notice that this shifter is straight, opposed to the TWM and B&M short shifters

2) when it is placed next to the stock shifter, it seems the same length, IF NOT LONGER!

The shifter came with no directions, so I used a write up I found on scionlife for TWM shifters, thinking it would essentially be the same....OBVIOUSLY NOT...

I have no idea what to do...

A friend of mine suggested bending it?

If anyone knows how to install this particular shifter or has any suggestions PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post!!!

What do you mean by"it doesnt fit". Where is it that it doesnt fit. Sometimes you just have to force it into place. But not by too much as too damage anything

lol i bet the "japanese" writing in the pic says warning for JDM tCs only will not fit USDM tCs.

good luck too bad they didnt put it in english... should have bot B&M or TWM or Creative Compact. or waited for NST

sorry not funny, try to contact the ebay seller you got it from and try to get a refund.

I'd be interested to see a pic of how it sits.
