And for the record, the Stig helped develope the TI-C.

It probably will sounds great. Ptuning makes some quality stuff. They already had sound clips of the turbo back, I doubt there is a dramatic difference in sound from N/A.

Wasn't that discontinued over a year ago? The vids on YouTube don't help to sell it well. Do not get a header if you want it to sound decent. I don't think it flows well with the bumper opening.

Thanks to Mr. Cop

Had Agency Power. Can't believe it took them almost a year to finally get me. Someone must of bi*ched "What a hoser"... Now, I'm driving with a header w/o a exhaust (which turns out the engine makes nice sound. And is just as loud as a TRD) LOL

I'll probably get 2nd TRD down the road & make sure to not trade it.

I was conned and bought a ark cat-back. I hate that company.

Anyway, is having an aftermarket header the only way to get rasp? I'm thinking of modifying my cat- back to make it a little louder and I don't want rasp, obviously. It is freaking STOCK quiet.

no thats not the only way you can get raspyness, I got my grandfather to put on 2.5" catback exhaust with a 4" Angled out tip and she got raspyness at top end bc of no resonators. But if you do have headers, do catback with a long resonator, like a glasspack or something and it will not give you rasp....and you still gain a bit of power

You bought a oe style exhaust it's going to be quiet. Youtube is your friend for video's of exhaust systems.

Hey man thanks for the info. I started a thread about it. Feel free to repost. Thanks

The01cav
YouTube was my friend. It was my _____ too. I probably listened to every single tc exhaust vid on there and on a computer with good speakers too. The DTS vid that ark put out sounds NOTHING like the te system I got. They also said bolt on which proved to be a lie. They have since changed their advertising.

Yeah I do remember them posting a thread that there was a new design for the DTS. Good luck with whatever you do with it.

The HKS doesn't seem very loud to me. Maybe because the rest of my exhaust is stock?

Yeah I have stock pipe with the HKS and it's a really nice low rumble, no droning at all.

I have a full catback with the HKS and it's a nice low tone. It's only loud when I get on it. Rasp gets annoying in the cabin after too long.
