Powdercoat or high temp store paint?

Hey everyone, I'm removing my valve cover tomorrow for powdercoat. Well I wanna know what everyone feels about store bought high temp paint. I was just thinking that it would be alot cheaper and if it really doesnt matter then go the cheaper route. My powdercoat guy quoted me about 100 buck to powdercoat the valve cover.
Please let me know what you guys think

Paint will work but the powdercoat will be more durable.
If you go for paint are you doing it yourself? There's going to be a decent ammount of prep work if you want the paint to adhere well.

I think the paint from Duplicolor is pretty good. I also think theres a guy that powder coats for $50... heres the link:

what kind of prep work should i do if I go that route?
powdercoat is indestructible..not really but its very nice...i have experience painting and need or want to save money go that route its all preference if u want to be able to say you powercoated it or you just paint..will you be showing your car or what

Yeah I'm leaning towards powdercoat right now.
Now to pick the color....hehe
Its either going to be black or red for sure. Nothing too out there. Prolly just fire engine red.
