Default power hour!

wondering what i should get to enhance the power on my tc

so far im running a whopping greddy ti-c.....
i know its pretty much still stock thats why im asking for some mod advice.

also i want it to have a low rumble kinda like a rex im not to fond of the beater civic dx sound you hear when ur in the hood.

so please help!

EDIT: with the skunk 2 s pipe back how much modification do you have to do while installing?
i read that you neeed to grind some but i was wondering if this happens with a lot of people

this has been covered a million times.
your car with never sound like WRX, our engine configurations arent even the same, the only way to get a car that sound like a WRX...is to buy a WRX.

and the only mods you can do to get a noticable HP increase is SC or Turbo.

Bolts on will only net you like 10HP.

x2 everything is for noise not power.. only turbo or s/c will make any power

Since u are in Cali, Supercharger is the only legal way to boost your tc. Parts and labor is about $3500 to $4000.

A skunk 2 s-pipe back exhaust will give you your rumble in the jungle.

But that means ditching your greddy exhaust.

We understand your a noob and thats why your asking for help. But i swear i hear this exact question like at least once a week. So if you search your answer has been answered already. But the greddt ti-c exhaust is nice. Just get a megan midpipe and get some 4-2-1 headers for low end to mid range power or 4-1 headers for top end power. If you get the weapon-r 4-2-1 headers it comes with and s-pipe. If you go 4-1 headers get the invidia s-pipe. But plan on addign at least one 18" resonator to the midpipe. The midpipe will come with one but your gonna need a better one. Your can search for resnator suggestions. But I would say get 2 12" resonators for better rasp elemination. NST pulleys help as well. So search on those things and read up before you ask anymore questions just so you dotn get flamed again. Also please never post a thread asking if you will beat another car, or how much HP do you think I have. GL

I think this exhaust sounds a bit rumbley.

Other then that you wont get a real rumble like the wrx. Thier rumble is caused by uneven headers and the firing order of thier pistons. None of which is really possible for the tc. Short of ripping the car apart and replacing the whole drivetrain with one out of a wrx/sti you can't recreate that sound.

ha i would never ask if i could beet someone if it was something like that then i would kindly ask everyone here to shoot me. ha

i went to a performance shop today and the guy had an xb and was telling me that he could get me a straight pipe( he has a machine at the shop to bend it) from the s pipe to bold up to my rear section for 128 and it would be all custom with a resinator. But im not sure what the best option would be.

Thats a good deal man. But a straight pipe on an N/A setup isnt such a good idea. You want backpressure in an N/A setup.

Go with the Injen TRD is more expensive. You can get the Injen for 260 shipped from wesellcarparts in the sponsored sales. My friend just got the trd though cause it looks black chrome and he has the trd black chrome strut bar and black chrome five axis wheels. So he has a theme going. But performance wise the injen is the best!
