I have a TRD and I am having the same problem. It's not your roomates fault the pipe is just built a little bit too long. IF you want Pull the Intake apart where the first pipe meets the second pipe then force both of them as close as you can and clamp them down. It'll stop it for a while but the intake eventually wiggles itself loose again Just what happens I also just recently bought a beer holder and wrapped it around the spot where it meets the fender works pretty good!!

ok i'll take some tonight after work, naa i meant my roommates fault, because it looks like he took the "black rubber sleeve" that i think might actually supposed to go there is at the part where the down pipe and thetop pipe meet each other it's almost as though maybe he didnt connect that part together correctly.

my friend has an 08 tc with a fujita intake. the smart one didn't put the vibration mounts on....his CEL came on a few weeks later. turns out the MAF censor was shaking or something like that, so the dealer turned off the light (how do u turn off the light anyway?) and i fixed his intake....his name is rich. he's mexican.

Ok Well silverstreak I'm just gonna let that slide but that ain't cool saying that your mexican friend is stupid. ITs cool if he's stupid but please don't be asssuming that all mexicans are stupid. Secondly that's what I meant. The place where the two connect aren't sitting right up on each other so you need to disconnect them, then reconnect them tightly in the silicone coupling. That should stop it for a while.

ok, i'll try that this weekend and hopefully that will help, and maybe i will see if i can get another rubber sleeve like the one that is right where the 2 connect and move it down so that when it does rattle during idle that it won't be as bad.

thanks for the help!

check on the inside of the frame there is a small bracket that will rub against the intake tubing... you can either sawzall it off or put a rubber stopper on it.. its hard to see.. its on the upper inside of the frame right where the intake rolls over into the fender.. about 1/4 the size of a popcicle stick
