i have the megan oe-rs catback and it looks stock and is definitely not loud but it is a little louder than stock i have gotten plenty of compliments on the sound of it too.

just a suggestion if you are looking for something quieter.

sorry to hear about all that though im always lucky with cops

dont even get me started with the cops here, but yeah, its times like this that its nice to have stock parts still, just sell the cat back and install simple rd or the megan oe muffler, youll still have more sound then stock and better performance, im sure you can find someone that is willing to trade

sorry to hear about that drivinkrn...if u rmember i sold u that exhaust too lol! but, i dont think even puttin the silencer will help, if they wrote you for modified exhaust ur screwed....since its a full catback, they might make u take the whole thing off, i might be wrong but, if u had an axleback putin a silencer might do it....anyways.. hope everythin goes good...

i thought drivin with no insurance here in cali, they'll impound ur car? plus huge fines?and..... well they cant suspend ur license since its already suspended..but man ur screwd....good luck...

The cop was just doing his job. Honestly, you got a break concidering you didn't have a valid Drivers license or insurance. Not all cops are buttholes.

yeah, from my past cop history i usually get breaks or the cop at the time is busy and didn't have time to impound or bust me further.

i guess the cop the other day had all the time in the world lol

sucks.
No reason to drive on a suspended license tho.
Did he measure the decibel level of your exhaust? You might be able to argue the definition on "loud" if he did not measure the level. My boss got out of a ticket by doing this.

yeah you can get out and that's just work that has to be done.. a cop can pull you over if he "thinks" you have an aftermarket exhaust.. i've known kids that have gotten pulled over in an evo with a stock exhaust.. just because it has a polished tip.. socal just blows..

You know, everyone thinks they are Dr. Phil on here. He said he was just venting, stop trying to make decisions for him.....

haha nah it's all good! i appreciate everyones input and opinions, seriously.

cops here can even get us for no front license plate even. -.-

and if you decide to put it on the dashboard against the windshield (ricer status) cops get you for that as well. i remember a cop lecturing me about that, saying how if there were to be a front end impact with my car the license plate can fly back and slice you or your girlfriend/whomever, haha.

right when i heard that i imagined it in my head and didn't do it since, lol.
