that's roughly an hour of labor, which is reasonable.

if the person knows exactly what they are doing 1/2 hour seems right. I paid $60 at my mechanic's place but I know the owner.... so $80 doesnt seem bad since youre in so-cal.

yeah. i think the flate rate time to replace that pulley is like .8 of an hour.

and most shops i know charge around 100/hr.

so that seems like a good price.

its a really easy install.
it took me 15mins but i had a lift to use.

Default Write up

Can anyone who has done the install on the crank pulley do a brief write up(detailed if possible ).

I have the time and would like to do it myself (budgeting...) minus the lift

Thanks in advance for any help.

I know! I love PR for that, but I really hate the economic situation over here. I wish I would have the car services rates I have here, plus live in the States. Guess I'm dreaming, right? Dyno time here is $50 the hour in a DynoJet dyno. Oil Changes go for $20. I think u know where I'm going, right?

Is it too cold there? Cause I don't like it below 50F in the Winter.
